The Anchorage Municipal Election is Tuesday, April 7th. Are you ready to vote?
All Anchorage voters will receive a ballot at their registered mailing address. The Municipality sent out the ballots on March 17th. After filling out your ballot, make sure you sign the voter declaration! Then, you can return it in one of three ways:
→ Return via mail with first-class postage. Ballots must be postmarked on or before election day. If you mail your ballot near election day, take it into a post office and ask them to manually postmark the envelope. This manual postmark will ensure it's postmarked when you mail it and not later.
→ Return your ballot free of charge to one of 18 secure dropboxes around Anchorage. In West Anchorage, you'll find dropboxes at West High School, Dimond High School, and Spenard Rec Center.
→ Return your ballot in-person to an Anchorage Vote Center at Loussac Library or City Hall.
Voting in-Person
If you didn't receive your ballot or don't want to vote by mail, you can vote in person at an Anchorage Vote Center. West Anchorage voters can vote at the following Vote Centers:
→ Anchorage City Hall (632 West 6th Avenue, Room # 105)
→ Loussac Library (3600 Denali Street, First Floor )
These vote centers will be open the following times:
→ Weekdays, March 31 – April 6, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
→ Saturday, April 4, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
→ Election Day, April 7, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
