We launched Work Ready Alaska in March with our partners at Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities and Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Alaska.

The program connects Alaskans ages 16–25 with opportunities to explore careers in the skilled trades and construction industry.

Five months in, 167 young people have enrolled and are making great progress toward gaining employment. We’re so proud of them!

Join us from 1 - 6 PM at 755 A Street to learn about our programs supporting young people experiencing homelessness and trafficking in our community - and how you can get involved.

Tours will run every half hour from 1 - 5:30 PM.

Featured presentations at 2 PM and 4 PM will highlight our homelessness prevention successes and plans to expand this work.

This year, our Open Houses are built around The Journey Home, the 10-year strategic plan guiding Covenant House sites across the country. The first will focus on prevention and feature two presentations on that work.
