Ann Arbor Office of Emergency Management works closely, year round, to plan, share resources and train with city departments like police, fire, signs and signals, city clerk, solid waste, public works, water treatment and many others, as well as community partners including Ann Arbor Public Schools, U of M, area health systems, Washtenaw County, DDA, Huron Valley Ambulance and more, plus state and federal agencies. If disasters or hazards strike in our city, Ann Arbor OEM calls on this community of partners for a coordinated, swift, thorough and effective response.
Thank you to just some of the members of the Ann Arbor Emergency Operations Team, featured here, for helping emphasize the importance of this office — Ann Arbor City Clerk Jacqueline Beaudry, Ann Arbor Public Schools Executive Director of Student & School Safety Liz Margolis, Ann Arbor Police Staff Sergeant Kory Petterle, Ann Arbor Public Services Area Chief of Staff Skye Stewart and Ann Arbor City Administrator Milton Dohoney Jr.
