Owasco Residents there are sales people from FOX PEST Control in our neighborhoods. They do NOT have a permit from the The Town Of
Owasco. Always use caution when people are at your door peddling, and call the local law enforcement agency to report it.
If we ever do issue a permit we will post all their information here and via emails.
My Recommendation if you do not want solicitors at your door, purchase a no soliciting sign on your property.

Letchworth, VanDuyne, Adams, Possibly First, Second, Fourth, Bristol, may even include other areas. Water will be cloudy when it is turned back on, run your outside hose or cold water until it is clear.

Town of Owasco Cancels Rezoning Hearing; Proceeds with Aubyrne Marina Public Hearing on July 30
OWASCO, NY —

The Town Board of the Town of Owasco has announced updates to its public hearings scheduled to take place during the board meeting on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Town of Owasco Town Hall, 2 Bristol Avenue, Auburn, New York 13021.

The Town Board has officially cancelled the public hearing regarding Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026, which aimed to rezone certain parcels to a Residential Uses Planned Development District Overlay District. Following administrative review, this proposed legislation has been formally withdrawn from consideration.

However, during this same 4:30 p.m. meeting, the Town Board will proceed as scheduled with the public hearing for Proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2026 regarding the Proposed Planned Development District (PDD) Aubyrne Marina. This hearing concerns property located at 7041 Owasco Road, owned by Megan E. Byrne, as Trustee of the Richard M. Byrne and Catherine L. Byrne Irrevocable Trust Dated July 18, 2019.
The public hearing for the Aubyrne Marina proposal will move forward to hear all interested persons.
