👟🐱 GIRLS ON THE RUN DOING BIG THINGS! 🐶👟

We are incredibly proud of our amazing Girls on the Run team! Not only have these girls been working hard, logging miles, and training with all their hearts, but they’ve also been focusing on giving back to our community.

Over the last few weeks, the team organized a donation drive for the Androscoggin Humane Society. Thanks to their dedication and your incredible generosity, they collected a massive haul of supplies! 🐾✨

There are going to be some very happy dogs and cats in our community thanks to these compassionate leaders. Thank you to everyone who donated, and a huge shoutout to our runners and coaches for showing what true teamwork and community spirit look like!

Way to go, girls! 🌟❤️

Yearbooks are in and we have a limited amount to sell, on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to purchase one for your child, they can bring in $12. Checks are paid to Washburn school.

This event is TOMORROW! Right here at Washburn, rain or shine!

If it is raining, we will eat in classrooms.

A change from last year is lunch will be at the same time for all students, so multiple student households don’t have to choose or wait around for another lunch period.

One of our second grade classrooms won the battle of the banks, and their prize was to get a tour of our local bank! They had a blast!

We are very fortunate to have a partnership with Community Credit Union because they are always there for our students and teachers! Thank you for our treats this teacher appreciation week 😊

Did you know that you can view your child’s artwork at the Auburn Mall, starting today?!?

But mark your calendars for May 1st from 4-6pm for a special performance from the Washburn Chorus at 4pm! As well as some art fun at center court for the Pop Up Art Studio to make Paper Dragon Jaws, origami and pins 🎨
