It was a beautiful day to welcome this happy group of kayakers to Round Pond as part of the Appalachian Mountain Club 150th Anniversary Relay! These volunteers are part of the 2,000+ mile journey that has been hiking, biking, and paddling the AMC pennant from Virginia to Maine.🌲🌊🛶🥾🚲

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) applications are now open! HEAP helps qualified homeowners and renters pay for heating costs, such as fuel. You can also qualify for energy-related repairs and utility payments if eligible.

At the invitation of Senator Cameron Reny and Representative Holly Stover, CMP's Customer Service team is bringing our Community Connection outreach event to the Boothbay YMCA from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (261 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor)

This is a great opportunity to meet one-on-one with our Customer Advocate, get answers to your questions about your bill, energy use, or rates, and learn about programs and options that may help make your bill more affordable.

The entire state of Maine has seen a reduction in rural maternity services. However, in recent weeks it has been brought to light that our very own Labor & Delivery Services at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital’s Miles Campus, is at risk of shutting down. I — as a state senator, a mother, and a friend to more than a few women who have almost died or lost their child during labor — am calling upon the Board of Directors of MaineHealth to follow the requests of the Miles Delivers Action Coalition (MDAC).
