It's the first day of school across Senate District 25!

As students and teachers head back for another year in the classroom, I’m proud of the work my colleagues and I did this year to support them.

From additional school bus safety measures and increasing the minimum teacher salary to funding for universal free school meals, we’re doing everything we can to give Maine kids the best start possible.

Excited to join Mattie Daughtry for Office Hours tomorrow in Yarmouth. See you there!

It has been great hosting office hours across Senate District 23 over the course of this summer! Being able to hear from you all is what fuels the work in Augusta. On August 6, 1965, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law, declaring that every American’s right to vote should be protected and accessible.

Today, we honor the civil rights leaders who fought, marched and organized to secure the ballot for all. I'm proud to have written Maine's online voter registration law and reaffirm my commitment to protecting that right for generations to come.
