💛🐟 Thankful Thursday: Gorton’s

This week, we’re thankful for Gorton's Seafood, a longtime SeaShare partner that has generously supported our work through donations of both seafood and funds.

Based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, America’s oldest fishing port, Gorton’s helped pioneer modern frozen seafood convenience foods, including fish sticks, in the early 1950s. The iconic Gorton’s Fisherman embodies the company’s belief that “if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.” And they are!

In 2025, Gorton’s donated more than $37,000 to SeaShare. So far in 2026, the company has contributed more than $31,000 and over 4,000 pounds of battered po***ck, providing approximately 17,000 nutritious seafood servings for people facing food insecurity.

Gorton’s support also extends through its Hook Line and Savor products, which donate 5% of profits from every delish box of fish to SeaShare.

Thank you, Gorton’s, for years of generosity, partnership, and commitment to helping more people enjoy the goodness of seafood!
