Baldwin Fire Rescue is at the we are neighbors event today at Baldwin High school along with many other great events. Such as our friends and partners at Baldwin EMS, Baldwin PD and other great organizations.
106 Truck, 106 UTV1, and 106 Drone are all in attendance.

Please join us Thursday 5/28 between the hours of 5:30 and 8 pm at Baldwin High School for the Baldwin Whitehall School District We are Neighbors event. Baldwin Firefighters will be in attendance giving fire safety advice and answering any questions the community has about Baldwin Fire Rescue.

In addition to BFR there will be numerous other groups, food trucks, and entertainment opportunities. Come out and support the Baldwin Whitehall community.

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day! We are glad to continue our tradition each year of celebrating and assisting The American Legion-Post 935 in Baldwin Borough. We hope everyone has a safe and happy memorial day. Below are a few photos of the ceremony captured with 106 Drone 1.

Shortly before Midnight last night BFR was dispatched to the area of Willet RD and Schuette Rd for a single vehicle accident with rollover. 106 Eng 1, Eng 2 and Sqd 2 responded along with mutual aid. 116 Chief arrived to find one vehicle on its side with the single occupant still inside being assisted out by a passer by that stopped. 106 Eng 1 and 2 arrived and began stabilization. The occupant was assisted out and transferred to EMS. The assignment was held to 106 and 116. Crews remained on scene until the vehicle was removed.

⚠️ FLASH FLOODING RISK INCREASED FOR THIS EVENING 5/24 ⚠️

Heavy rain and thunderstorms will be expected across western Pennsylvania later this afternoon and evening. In response, the WPC has placed parts of the region under a flash flood risk (level 1/4 - green, level 2/4- yellow). Scattered flash flooding events are expected in the level 2/4(yellow). Flash flooding is expected in the heavy thunderstorms due to the recently saturated ground and high atmospheric moisture content. Thunderstorms may produce 1-2"+/hr rates this evening, which can lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding may occur as quick as minutes in the heaviest thunderstorms. Remember to turn around, don't drown, and heed all flash flood alerts issued today. Stay tuned!
