IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Bedford Public Library will discontinue telephone renewal and notification services as of Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The decision to terminate the service was made due to upcoming budgetary cuts.

We strongly encourage all who currently use phone notifications to sign up for email or paper notifications before the September 30th deadline. By submitting your email, you will have access to your Online Library Account where you can renew items, place new items on hold, and keep track of all your physical and digital checkouts!

It was HOT 😎☀ but you showed up! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Time Capsule Celebration, and thank you City of Bedford, IN and Mayor Sam Craig for celebrating with us!

Throughout our nation’s history, libraries have been an important pillar of our communities; a place to gather, find connection, share stories, and preserve the moments that shape us. Today, we added our own chapter to that history, sealing a time capsule that will hold our stories and memories for the next 50 years.❤️
