IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

There is a Water Line Break on Main Street near the Walk Bridge. Ohio County PSD is on Scene and beginning repairs. Due to the water line break the holding tanks that supply the town are critically low or empty, causing residents to have little to no water. Once water has been restored it will take time for the holding tanks to recover. A boil order has been issued for 48hrs once water service has been restored to the town.

Use caution when traveling through town this morning.

Bethany Volunteers were proud to be in attendance this evening at the annual Bethany College Activities Fair!

For generations, Bethany College students have played an important role in the history and success of our department. Tonight gave us another opportunity to meet students, talk about what it means to serve as a volunteer firefighter, and hopefully welcome some new faces.

Whether you have previous fire/EMS experience or have never stepped foot in a fire station, no experience is necessary. Training is provided, and there are opportunities to learn and gain hands-on experience in firefighting, EMS/first response, rescue operations, and more.

We want to thank Bethany College for allowing us to participate and for continuing to support the strong relationship between the College and our department.

🔥 Interested in joining Bethany VFD?
Stop by the station on a Tuesday evening, talk with one of our members, message us here on Facebook, or email [email protected].

Volunteer. Train. Serve your community. Become part of 150 years of tradition.
