Kinship Caregivers: Heroes Facing Hidden Challenges 💪💔

While kinship caregivers give children the gift of family, love, and stability, they often face incredible challenges behind the scenes:

📚 Legal & Custody Hurdles
Navigating guardianship or custody without legal help can be overwhelming and confusing.

🧠 Emotional Strain
Caring for a child who's experienced trauma while managing family dynamics takes an emotional toll.

⚖️ Balancing Roles
Grandparents, siblings, and other relatives must balance being both family and full-time caregivers—sometimes overnight.

Despite all of this, kinship caregivers rise to the occasion every day. 💛
This Kinship Care Month, let’s raise awareness, offer support, and advocate for policies that truly recognize their value.
