FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Help keep Bingham County running. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the buildings and infrastructure that serve our community every day. This hands-on position offers a variety of work, from troubleshooting electrical and plumbing systems to completing building repairs, remodeling projects, grounds maintenance, and ensuring county facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

No two days are the same. You'll work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance projects, operate and monitor building systems, assist with snow removal and landscaping, and help maintain everything from public offices to detention facilities. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and making a visible impact on your community, this is the job for you.
$18.01 TO $20.26 depending on experience

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Bingham, Bannock, and Power Counties due to elevated levels of fine particulate matter (PM2.5).

⚠️ Current Air Quality: Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
đźš« Open Burning is Prohibited during the advisory period.
Those who may be more affected include:
• Children and older adults
• Individuals with asthma, heart disease, or other respiratory conditions
• Anyone sensitive to air pollution

To help protect your health:
âś… Limit prolonged outdoor activities if you are sensitive to smoke or air pollution.
âś… Keep windows and doors closed when possible.
