Boyertown Community Library We are a public library and non-profit 501(c)(3), with off street parking and an outdoor book return.

Boyertown Community Library (BCL) is a public library and 501(c)3 nonprofit that serves the growing communities of Boyertown Borough, Colebrookdale Township, Earl Township, Douglass Township and surrounding areas. Mission: The Boyertown Community Library will serve the community’s diverse needs by providing current informational, educational, and recreational resources. Vision: The library will be a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space where people learn and discover, explore their passions, and find resources that contribute to a full life. Values:

This week is National Friends of Libraries Week!

We are lucky to have an incredible Friends group. The Friends of the Boyertown Community Library is comprised entirely of volunteers. They curate and and run the monthly book sale and have helped us fund countless projects and programs here at the library. If you happen to see them at the next book sale, please let them know how much you appreciate the work they do. The staff and Board of Trustees are so grateful to our Friends group for all of their efforts in supporting the Boyertown Library💜

We are proud to present Quilts: Stories Stitched Through Generations

Join Deborah Romig and her 93-year-old mother for a lively exploration of quilting, from its history and creative process to the stories and memories stitched into quilts across generations. Through personal stories, examples, and audience participation, discover why quilts are so much more than fabric and thread. And what they can tell us about where we come from!

This program will be held on Monday, November 2nd at 1pm.

The Friends of the BCL monthly Book Sale & Donation Acceptance Day is tomorrow, Saturday, October 17, from 9am-1pm!

This is an incredible sale that is put together by the Friends of the Boyertown Community Library. The group is made up entirely of volunteers who put in countless hours each month to bring you an incredible collection of books, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, and the list goes on! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for holding this sale to benefit the library each month! And thank you to everyone who has donated and attended the sale!

They accept cash and check only and the sale is held in the lower level of the library.
