This unique event offered a firsthand look at the extensive restoration and modernization efforts underway to preserve the historic 1871 Hastings City Hall building. Attendees learned about masonry restoration, dome preservation, HVAC system upgrades, boiler plant removal, and the integration of City Hall’s heating system with upgraded boilers.

A special thank you to Charlie Judge, City of Hastings Facility Manager, for providing a great informational presentation and tour of the renovation projects. His insight helped highlight both the challenges and successes of modernizing critical building systems while preserving the character and historical significance of this landmark public facility.
