🏡 We are just as excited as you are about our beautiful new 24/7 shelter!

While the building is complete, our new shelter is not yet open to the public. There are still many important steps that need to happen before families can begin their journey with us in August. From furnishing rooms and installing equipment to final preparations and training, our team is working hard every day to make sure everything is ready to welcome families experiencing homelessness.

We know many of you are eager to see the new space, and we can't wait to share it with you! 💙

Mark your calendars and join us for our Open House on Thursday, June 26th from Noon to 4:00 PM. This incredible project has been years in the making, and we are excited to open our doors and celebrate with the community that helped make it possible.

💙 Shoutout to our incredible New Pathways team! 💙

We may be a small staff, but we are truly mighty. As we continue working toward opening our new site, every single team member has taken on extra tasks, extra responsibilities, and extra stress — all while continuing to show up each day with compassion, dedication, and heart for the families we serve.

Building and preparing a new shelter is exciting, but it also adds a whole lot to everyone’s plates behind the scenes. We are so grateful for this amazing group of people who continue to work tirelessly to make this dream a reality for our community. 🏠✨

We also want to give a huge thank you to our dedicated Board of Directors. Their leadership, support, encouragement, and work behind the scenes have helped guide this project. Their belief in our mission and commitment to the future of New Pathways means more than words can say.

Thank you for your flexibility, your teamwork, your laughter during the stressful moments, and your unwavering commitment to helping families experiencing homelessness.

We are incredibly grateful to the Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless Foundation for awarding New Pathways a grant to provide some of the bunk beds and twin bed frames for families with children experiencing homelessness right here in Central Minnesota. 💙

As we prepare to open our new 24/7 shelter this summer, support like this helps turn our vision into reality — creating a safe, stable, and welcoming space where families can begin building a brighter future. 🏠✨

For nearly 40 years, Open Your Heart has been helping shelters and programs across Minnesota provide dignity, comfort, and hope to those facing housing and food insecurity. We are honored to be one of the organizations receiving support through their most recent funding cycle.

This new chapter for New Pathways has taken years of planning, partnership, and community support, and we are so thankful to have organizations like Open Your Heart standing beside us.

🍋💛 A sweet act of kindness 💛🍋

A young supporter recently held a lemonade stand and donated the proceeds to New Pathways. 🥹

Moments like this remind us that compassion and generosity can come from anyone, at any age. Knowing that someone chose to spend their time helping families in our program means more than words can say.

We sure have amazing people everywhere. From neighbors and volunteers to children with huge hearts, our community continues to show up in the most beautiful ways.

Yesterday was such a special day at New Pathways. 💙

We want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the incredible quilters who donated handmade quilts for our new 24/7 shelter. These beautiful quilts have been lovingly crafted over the past several months, and we are completely overwhelmed by the care, time, and talent poured into every single stitch. 🧵✨

Because of your generosity, every bed in our new shelter will be covered with a beautiful handmade quilt. What an amazing gift for the families who will walk through our doors — not just warmth and comfort, but a reminder that their community cares deeply about them.

Thank you for using your talents to help make our new shelter feel like home. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️
