Elsmere Police Assist Child in Need:
The Elsmere Police recently learned of a child who had their cell phone stolen while selling water in order to purchase a new phone. The Elsmere Police made contact with the child and were able to prove him with a new phone and charger as well as means to have his new phone activated.

Last Friday, the Delaware State University Police Department celebrated 25 years of service to the University.

During the ceremony, Master Corporal Spicer and Cpl. Stevenson were recognized, along with several DSU PD Officers, for their assistance in identifying and apprehending a suspect who was involved in a shooting they investigated last year.

Congrats to DSUPD on 25 years, and thank you for recognizing the great work our Officers do each and every day.
