Favarh Day Program participants and their staff have been part of the local program Meals On Wheels since forever. They volunteer to deliver meals to our house-bound neighbors. Yes it takes time and a lot of patience to drive to each home, get out of the van, walk to each front door to greet neighbors and hand deliver their meals. But it is oh so satisfying and purposeful volunteer work. We’re so proud to be part of this ongoing and helpful neighborly effort.

Shelley & John are husband and wife volunteers at the Favarh Thrift Shop. Shelley prices housewares 2 days a week, John takes home appliances, electronics, cameras, etc. to test, research, clean and return to the store to sell or recommend for eBay.
