Teacher Appreciation Week is coming! This is a great way to recognize a special teacher.

👩‍🏫🎉 Celebrate with LEEF as we appreciate teachers the week of April 13 - April 24. teachers go above and beyond every day to support, inspire, and uplift students, and this is your chance to honor their hard work! Honorees will be notified during LISD’s Teacher Appreciation Week the week of May 4th.

💛Submit a quick online form, include an optional video message for a chance to be featured on LISD’s YouTube page, and make a minimum $25 donation to LEEF in honor of your nominee. Each honoree will be entered to win a local dining gift card. Honorees will be notified the week of May 4th!

Knowles is competing in the Attendance World Cup! Pool play is April 20 - May 1.

Help us make it to the knock out rounds by sending your child to school every day they are well, scheduling appointments for after 8:30am, and sending in all medical notes (doctor, dentist, therapy, etc).

Knowles was the runner up for most improved school in the Fall. Help us RISE to the top for World Cup!

Here are some kid‑friendly snack tips:

Pick power snacks! Fruits, veggies, cheese, or nuts instead of chips or candy.
Color your plate! The more colors, the better!
Go for energy! Choose foods that help you play and think.
Make it fun! Build fruit kabobs or dip apples in peanut butter.
