Here is an exciting opportunity from an ARNG CYS community partner for your consideration.

Designed specifically for high school students, the program introduces participants to the foundations of quantum computing while helping them build knowledge and skills and explore the applications, challenges, and future of this transformative technology.

Through funding from DoWSTEM, we’re offering free enrollment for students in U.S. military-connected families.

Applications are now open for a 2026 Fall course through Frontier Technology Institute, Foundations of Quantum Computing, for high school students.

Eligibility: Incoming 9th-12th graders
Where: Virtual via Zoom
Dates: Sept. 27 - Dec. 12, 2026
Weekly Schedule: 1-hour asynchronous lecture / 1-hour live lab

The course is also accredited by WASC and approved as a college prep course by the UC A-G System,

Planning to pay a bill online? Scammers are using paid search ads to make their fake bill‑pay sites appear at the top of search results. These sites may look official but can charge unexpected fees or collect your payment without any connection to the real company.

Tips to stay safe: • Scroll past sponsored ads to find the actual company website.
• If you know it, type the company’s web address directly into your browser.
• When in doubt, double-check you’re on the legitimate payment page before submitting any information.

Teens: The mission begins with you! The Youth Advisory Council gives you a voice, leadership training, and opportunities to create change for military-connected youth.

Eligibility requirements: 13-18 years old. Army or Air Guard youth. Willing to commit to come to a minimum %50 of scheduled programming. Complete application with one adult reference. Eligible for leadership roles after one year of active membership!
