MODIFIED BRUSH AND BULK COLLECTION IS UNDERWAY TO HELP SPEED UP COLLECTION. Here's how you can help!!

When setting out your brush and bulky waste for pickup, please keep these essential Do’s and Don’ts in mind so our crews can collect everything quickly and efficiently! We have added more trucks and crews are running 10-hour days, six days a week.

✅ DO Separate Your Piles
Keep yard waste/brush and bulky items (furniture, appliances, etc.) in distinct, separate piles along the curb. Different specialized trucks are dispatched for each material type, so mixed piles can delay pickup!

❌ DON’T Block Piles with Vehicles
Park vehicles clear of all waste piles. Collection trucks need ample room and overhead clearance for boom arms to pick up materials safely.

❌ DON’T Place Piles in the Street
Keep all waste behind the curb on your lawn or easement. Piles spilled into the roadway create safety hazards for traffic and block storm drains.

Brush can be dropped off at the Wood Recycle Center and Bulk trash can go to any city refuse center, both free of charge.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our neighborhood looking great!

Public Works is adding crews to close the gap on brush collection. Starting Friday, more dedicated brush trucks are on the road, and crews are running 10-hour days, six days a week.

3 things that speed up your street:
1) Keep piles at the yard's edge and clear of parked vehicles
2) Keep materials in separate piles. Brush, bulk trash, bagged yard waste, and leaves each get picked up by a different specialized truck — a mixed pile often gets skipped.
3) Dispose of smaller piles in regular garbage receptacles, if possible.

Can't wait? Brush can be dropped off the Wood Recycle Center and bulk trash can go to any city refuse center, both free of charge.

Thanks for your patience!
