On Tuesday, June 23rd, our Rescue Truck "Big Red" and Captain Mike Porter traveled to the Harrington Fire Co., Inc. for a Show and Tell style training. The Show and Tell provides local fire companies with the ability to see the types of tools and equipment Big Red carries and the Team utilizes, which are much different than the traditional fire engine. On Wednesday April 1st, just before 2000 hours, the Team was requested to assist the Clayton Fire Company NO.1 Inc. with a reported Structure Collapse. Command 45 arrived and confirmed a tree down on the Charlie Side of the structure, with all occupants accounted for. Special Ops resources found the same - a manufactured home, under renovation, with a tree down on the Charlie Side and partial intrusion through the roof. Due to the ongoing renovations, it was determined that the best plan of action would be to request the local Building Inspector for further analysis.
