Today, we join the Delaware City Police Dept in recognizing Sgt Wysock of the Cheswold Police Dept. who’s quick actions and calm demeanor led to helping a individual in crisis on Monday, Aug 3rd while he was working in his capacity as a Delaware City Police Officer.

Sgt Wysock’s dedication to public safety and serving two communities in the State of Delaware shows his love of the job and for people.

Thank you for your commitment to serving both towns, we are lucky yo have you and we appreciate your service.

COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUESTED

The Cheswold Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured below in connection with a recent attempted burglary.

The individual appears to be wearing a light-colored hooded jacket, a dark face covering, light-colored pants, and light-colored athletic shoes. Additional identifying features may include a baseball-style cap worn under the hood and several dark zipper or trim details on the jacket.

Anyone who recognizes this individual or has information that may assist with the investigation is asked to contact the Cheswold Police Department at (302) 734-2202.

Please do not approach the individual. Do not post names or identifying information in the comments. Information may be provided directly and confidentially to the Cheswold Police Dept.
