Sharpening skills, strengthening readiness.

Today, our HazMat Team is participating in Illicit Laboratory Training at DCI, gaining valuable hands-on experience in recognizing, assessing, and safely managing hazards associated with clandestine drug labs. Continuous training like this ensures our team remains prepared to protect our community and respond safely to complex incidents.

A big thank you to the instructors and partners who made this training possible.

🚒 We want to thank Classical Academy for the phenomenal job they did creating a fire safety obstacle course for their students! Cheyenne Fire Rescue was honored to be invited to talk about fire safety and help reinforce the importance of knowing how to safely exit during an emergency and when to call 911.

We appreciate the opportunity to partner with schools in our community to share life-saving fire safety information and encourage preparedness at a young age. Thank you for having us!

🚒 Cheyenne Fire Rescue Trunk or Treat is STILL ON! 🚒🎃

We've received a few questions if our Trunk or Treat is still on, and we are still a go!

Cheyenne Fire Rescue's Trunk or Treat is scheduled for October 24 at Fire Station 3 (720 Hanson St.) beginning at 4:00 PM and continuing until the candy runs out!

To further clarify, the candy and treats distributed during our Trunk or Treat are privately funded through donations and support from our members and community partners, not through tax dollars.

This event is one of our favorite opportunities to connect with local families, provide a safe place for kids to celebrate Halloween, and share some community fun with the residents we proudly serve.

We look forward to seeing all the ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses on October 24!

Thank you to The Schoolhouse, Dildine, Henderson, Cole, and Alta Vista Elementary for inviting us into your classrooms.
We also extend our appreciation to Rocky, Eddie, Kenny, and Kyle from the Guard for bringing your truck and supporting these events.
