🎉 We did it!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, LUCHA's first-ever Hope for Homes Day was a huge success. Together, we raised more than $4,500 for resident services—surpassing our fundraising goal and helping ensure families have the support they need to not only find stable housing, but truly thrive.

We're also proud to share that LUCHA ranked #3 in Illinois for number of individual supporters! Every donation, share, and word of encouragement made this possible.

Our Association House High School culinary students recently spent the day at McDonald's global headquarters for its inaugural Youth Day! 🍟✨

From food safety and culinary science to operations and logistics, students explored the many career paths that help power one of the world's largest restaurant brands. Most importantly, they had the chance to hear professionals share their personal journeys, ask thoughtful questions, and reflect on their own goals for the future.

Experiences like these help our young people see what's possible—and take one step closer to turning their dreams into reality. 💙

✨ After losing her job in January, Sednese decided to invest in herself instead of giving up.

Nine weeks later, she graduated from Association House's Financial Careers Training Program with the Confidence Award, recognizing the incredible growth and self-assurance she demonstrated throughout the program. Today, she's interviewing with major financial institutions and preparing to launch a brand-new career in finance.

As Sednese puts it: "Who would have known that I would have lost my job in January? Now I'm about to begin a career in finance in July."
