🌲 Join Us for Eklutna Culture Camp 2026! 🌲

Come spend the week celebrating and learning about Dena’ina culture at the Eklutna Pow Wow Grounds from July 20–24!

This year’s camp features hands-on activities for youth and families, including:
🐟 Salmon smoking, canning, and preservation
🌿 Plant identification and natural salve making
🪶 Beading and shirt block printing
📖 Dena’ina stories, history, and language games
🐻 Bear safety, cache building, and mud safety
🌊 Tide book reading, nature walks, and much more!

🍽️ Food will be provided each day, and participants will even wrap up the week with a backpack giveaway, community picnic, and games!

Please note that activities may change based on weather and timing.

We hope to see everyone there for a fun week of learning, culture, and community! ❤️🖤

Eligible participants include members of fellow Cook Inlet Tribes including:

Knik Tribal Council
Native Village of Tyonek
Kenaitze Indian Tribe
Salamatof Tribe
Ninilchik Traditional Council
Seldovia Village Tribe
Chickaloon Village Traditional Council

💰 Pay: $22–$34/hour DOE
