White County School System

White County School System White County Schools are located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia.

There are two main towns located in White County, Cleveland our county seat, and Helen. Cleveland is the home of the famous Cabbage Patch Kids and Truett McConnell College. Helen is Georgia's Alpine Village nestled in the mountains and is a favorite vacation site for many visitors.

Today, our elementary students enjoyed a special visit from Cleveland Mayor Josh Turner in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the United States. Mayor Turner shared stories with students and highlighted the importance of literacy and our nation's history .
