One of our partner organizations, Pikes Peak Permaculture, is hosting its first-ever permaculture garden tours series! Come explore these inspiring spaces and learn how regenerative gardening practices can help build a more resilient and water-safe future for our community.

Permaculture offers practical solutions through sustainable design, hands-on skills, and a deeper connection with the natural world. These gardens showcase what’s possible when we work with nature and build resilience together.

Funds raised through these tours will support Pikes Peak Permaculture’s resilience education programs and help expand opportunities for our community to learn skills, crafts, and projects that create a more sustainable future.

This , we're celebrating what makes a community event great - partnership!

At the end of June, we had the privilege of joining an incredible group of organizations for a Youth Fishing Derby at Quail Lake that brought kids outdoors to learn about our local waterways, cast some lines, and make lasting memories.

Events like these are only possible because of the dedication and collaboration of partners who share a common goal: connecting the next generation with nature and inspiring stewardship of our natural resources. From teaching fishing skills and water safety to sharing the importance of healthy rivers and streams, every organization played an important role in creating a fun and meaningful experience for local youth.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success - especially BCER Engineering, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the Boys and Girls Club. We love seeing what can happen when organizations come together to invest in our community and our watershed!

Here's to many more days spent outside, learning, exploring, and celebrating the power of partnership! 🎣💙🌊

Caught the biking bug after our Liquid Lecture on Thursday? You're in luck!🎬🚴 🌄

Join our friends at Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates and UpaDowna for a FREE outdoor screening of "Blood Road", an inspiring documentary that follows ultra-endurance mountain biker Rebecca Rusch as she rides the Ho Chi Minh Trail in search of the place where her father was lost during the Vietnam War.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our July Liquid Lecture last night at Goat Patch Brewing! 🍻💧

We had a fantastic evening of learning, conversation, and community as we explored the importance of protecting our home watershed through trail work projects with Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates. The Creekside bike ride beforehand really set the stage for watershed recreation awareness! A special thank you to our guest speaker, Cory, for sharing his trail knowledge and to Goat Patch Brewing for hosting us and supporting the Fountain Creek Brewshed® Alliance.

It's inspiring to see our community come together over great local craft beer and a shared passion for clean water. Every conversation helps build awareness, strengthen partnerships, and inspire action to protect the creeks and rivers that connect us all.

The Fountain Creek Brewshed® Alliance is teaming up with Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates and Goat Patch Brewing Co. for this month's Liquid Lecture exploring how thoughtful trail design can improve outdoor recreation while protecting wetlands, wildlife habitat, and watershed health.

Before the lecture, grab your bike and join us for a group ride along Fountain Creek - then head back to Goat Patch for an engaging presentation and great conversation over a pint ($1 off beer for all attendees!).
