We’re excited to welcome Corey Bowen as our new Accounts Payable Specialist at JewishColumbus!

Originally from Northwest Ohio, Corey studied Communications at The University of Toledo while serving in the Army National Guard, allowing him to support his community and travel the world. Jewish camp is more than a summer experience - it’s a place where confidence grows, friendships flourish, and Jewish identity comes alive.

In 2026, 115 campers received support through One Happy Camper grants and need-based scholarships, making transformative Jewish camp experiences possible for families across Central Ohio.

For many children, camp is where they discover a deeper sense of belonging and pride in being Jewish.

As Kfar Saba continues to face ongoing security threats following recent rocket attacks, JewishColumbus approved $40,000 in emergency funding for a portable bomb shelter to help protect vulnerable residents, including seniors and those without adequate access to shelter.

At the same time, we continue to strengthen our longstanding partnership with Kfar Saba through shared experiences and meaningful relationships that deepen connections to Israel, Jewish identity, and one another.

Together, these efforts provide critical support during times of need while building lasting connections between our communities. Visit the link in our bio to support this work.

A day of service, teamwork, and community impact.

Our JewishColumbus team spent time volunteering with the Mid-Ohio Market, supporting efforts to help families across Central Ohio access the food and resources they need.

We’re thankful for opportunities to roll up our sleeves, give back together, and strengthen the community we’re proud to be part of.
