The Crown Point Police Department is saddened by the loss of K-9 Bandit.

K-9 Bandit joined our department in October 2015 and retired with Sgt. Eldridge, his handler, in April 2024.

During his time at CPPD, Bandit was deployed more than 600 times and won four APCA Sniff-off awards.

We will miss K-9 Bandit and the joy he brought to our community. Our thoughts are with Sgt. Eldridge and his family during this difficult time.
