🍁 Fall scientists at work! Miss Hoffman’s 1st grade class explored fall leaves during a hands-on science investigation. Students colored, measured, and wrote about their leaves, taking a closer look at the colors, shapes, and sizes that make each one unique! 🔎🍂

☀️🐞 Small bugs, big STEM learning!

After their STEM field trip to the airport, students in Mrs. Dodson’s class kept the learning going back at Sycamore Park! Mr. Dugger visited the classroom to help students assemble solar-powered “bugs.” Using small solar panels and vibrating motors, students explored how energy from the sun can create motion—bringing renewable energy to life!

💛 Mrs. Arend’s 2nd graders are growing as learners and friends! From creating “family bracelets” and reading with their 5th grade buddies in Mrs. Pritchett’s class to messy oobleck investigations, partner fluency practice, and Bee-Bot place value coding with Mr. Ortman, each day brings something new.

They’ve even adopted a calf named Mango and will follow her growth throughout the year! 🐄📚🤖

Together, they’re becoming stronger readers, writers, mathematicians—and kind, compassionate classmates.
