“This case is a stark reminder of how important it is to protect our most vulnerable residents from those who would exploit their trust. We take crimes targeting seniors very seriously and my office will prosecute offenders to the fullest extent of the law,” said DA John Creuzot.

Diane Dancer was ordered to pay $1,817,822.97 in restitution to the victims along with the 15 year prison sentence.

Sharing a couple snaps from the Run for the Blue over the July 4th weekend.

The event was founded in response to the July 7, 2016, attack in downtown Dallas in which five police officers were killed and eight police officers were injured in the line of duty. Run for the Blue supports fallen and injured officers and their families.

Thank you to the members of our staff who took the time to show up and show their support for this worthy cause. 💙💙

Our satellite offices focus primarily on intimate crimes like family violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Please do not hesitate to visit an office near you should you need assistance in your journey to obtain justice.

⏰ Reminder: These offices are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM to 2 PM.

JUSTICE SERVED: A Dallas County jury has sentenced LaQuinton Turner to 45 years in prison for the 2001 sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl. This marks the first conviction resulting from the DA’s Cold Case Email Campaign -- a major milestone for the Dallas County DA's Office SAKI initiative.

Survivors of sexual assault can check the testing status of their case by emailing [email protected] or call 972-955-4923.
