Please join us in congratulating KQT's own, Cosme Francisco and Wilkins Maria on graduating from the Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute Paramedic Program last night!

Cosme and Wilkins joined KQT as EMTs in January 2022. In early 2025, they shared their goal of becoming paramedics and were guided to apply to GFAC. Over the past year, they have worked incredibly hard—balancing the demands of paramedic school with full-time work schedules, family responsibilities and home life—all while continuing to pursue their dreams. Their dedication, perseverance and commitment to advancing their skills align with everything we have seen from them during their time with KQT.

Cosme and Wilkins, the entire KQT family could not be any more proud of you. You earned this moment, and we cannot wait to see the impact you will make as paramedics!

We also extend our sincere appreciation to GFAC for providing an exceptional program and unwavering support throughout their journey. Thank you for investing in these outstanding young men and helping them reach this important milestone.

As our region continues to experience this intense heat wave, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible dedication of our whole team. When the temperatures rise, our team rises to the challenge!

Despite the scorching conditions, our EMTs, paramedics, drivers, dispatchers, communications specialists, mechanics and support staff continue to do what it takes to provide safe transportation and compassionate care to every patient we serve. Whether it's loading patients in the heat, navigating busy roadways, coordinating trips behind the scenes and ensuring our fleet is ready to respond, they remain committed.

Port Richmond Manager, Gervase Peterson, was out and about with a mobile hydration station helping our teams stay hydrated.
