Principal Trujillo is excited to announce an exciting opportunity for our Level 6, 7 and 8 students to serve in a newly created leadership opportunity.

Student Leadership • Student Voice • Schoolwide Impact

The Met is looking for students in Levels 6–8 to become Monarch Ambassadors. Monarch Ambassadors will meet with Principal Trujillo and other school staff to share student ideas, strengthen our school community, promote belonging, and help make the Met an even better place for students and staff.

One of our most important missions will be RISE, our mental health awareness and student wellness initiative:
R — Reach out
I — Include every voice
S — Speak up
E — Empower hope

Through RISE, Monarch Ambassadors will help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, make students aware of available support, recommend activities that reduce stress, and promote kindness, connection, positivity, and hope.

Here is the application that our interested level 6, 7 and 8 students need to complete by October 31st. Selected students will also need to complete a student interview and a parent permission slip.
