Denver Online offers personalized, interactive in-person and online middle school and high school classes designed for students needing flexibility.

Denver Online is a progressive online Denver Public School that provides motivated 6th-12th grade students with flexible online and blended learning. The school was created in 2003, and our courses utilize Schoology, an online learning management system, and Zoom, a video conferencing system, that allow teachers and students to interact through a variety of communication mediums. Our motto is, “DO MORE,” because we believe that online education allows the time and location flexibility to pursue college, careers, community service, competitive sports, traveling, and so much more. Denver Online works diligently to connect students with tuition-free college courses, service learning activities, and special school events that foster a go-getting, community driven attitude. Denver Online best serves motivated students who desire a personalized education plan that enables them to break outside the walls of a traditional classroom and DO MORE.

Meet Our Food Pantry!
The Denver Online Food Pantry is available to support students and families in need. Elegible families are able to select items in our pantry Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We offer a variety of resources, including non-perishable food items, fresh food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and clothing from The Village.

Denver Online Students!

In an effort to have a little fun, the HS Student Council has designated next week (November 2-6) as Denver Online Spirit Week!! As part of that effort, they are asking for your participation!! Here are the days:

Monday, 11/2: Crazy Hair Day 🤪 Get creative and show off your wildest hairstyle!

Tuesday, 11/3: Accessory Day 🕶️ Wear your favorite accessories, from hats and sunglasses to fun jewelry, or whatever else! MS Students can also show their school spirit at the MS Social, from 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.!

Wednesday, 11/4: Costume Day 🎭 Dress up as your favorite character or get creative with a fun costume! No face-coverings in the building.

Thursday, 11/5: Pajama Day 😴 Keep it cozy and wear your favorite pajamas!

Friday, 11/6: Class Colors 🎨 Show your grade-level pride by wearing your class color!

7th & 8th Grade: Orange

9th Grade: Green

10th Grade: Blue

11th Grade: Yellow

12th Grade: Red

Let's see your school spirit! Participate throughout the week by taking pictures and uploading them to your daily Advisement assignment. We can't wait to see everyone join in and make Spirit Week fun!

Meet the Team: Mandy Cameron, PE & Health Teacher! 🚨

Someone who believes that we thrive when allowed to think and behave outside of the standard norm...online school can create such a richness in life. She believes everyone should have the chance to rest and follow what lights them up in life. Outside of Denver Online, she loves spending time with her dear ones cooking, spending time in nature, or listening to live music.

We are thankful to have her on the team!

Quarter 1 ends: Fri, Oct 23

The last day to submit any coursework will be: Sun, Oct 25 by 11:59 PM (midnight)

After Sunday night, all Week 1–9 assignments lock and Quarter 1 work can no longer be submitted or graded.

Families, here’s how to help:
Encourage your student to review their current assignments and submit all remaining work before the deadline, so they start Quarter 2 on track.

Wash Up, Stay Well 🧼

Thursday, Oct 15 · Global Handwashing Day!

-29–57% fewer school absences from stomach bugs when students learn to wash -their hands
-23–40% fewer people get sick with diarrhea
-16–21% fewer colds and other respiratory illnesses
-20 seconds: the minimum soap scrub: hum “Happy Birthday” twice

At the keyboard:

-Wash before & after: Shared keyboards, mice and Chromebooks pass germs from hand to hand.
-Keep snacks away: Eating at your computer moves crumbs and germs straight onto the keys.
-Wipe it down: Power off, then use a wipe approved for electronics. Never spray liquid on the device.

💻Tech Tip: School computer damaged? Report it! 💻

Accidents and wear-and-tear happen. If your DPS-assigned computer is damaged and it's getting in the way of your schoolwork, let Denver Online's school tech know right away.

⚠️ Waiting too long can make the damage worse, and you may be held responsible as if it were intentional.

🔧 Please don't try a DIY fix or open the device. That voids the warranty.
