Victims deserve safety, support, trauma-informed care, and access to justice. Prop 133 treats youth victims the same as their perpetrators. Every time a victim is charged and convicted, it makes it harder for others to come forward. Protect victims from life in prison: Vote “NO” on Prop 133.

Supporting young people means investing in the systems surrounding them.

Proposition NN would allow Colorado to retain additional revenue above its current TABOR limit and direct it toward public education and services benefiting children, including teacher pay, smaller class sizes, career and technical education, disability services, child care, and preschool.

Schools are more than places young people learn. They are critical parts of the support systems that help young people access resources, build relationships, and thrive. PAVE urges Coloradans to vote YES on Proposition NN.

Health care decisions should be grounded in the needs of individual patients and conversations with their families and qualified providers. Proposition 135 would prohibit certain surgeries for people under 18 when performed to alter s*x characteristics and restrict public funding and insurance coverage for those procedures.

The measure specifically restricts care affecting transgender young people and their families. PAVE believes young people deserve dignity, support, and access to appropriate care without their lives becoming political battlegrounds.

When something doesn't feel right, it can be hard to know what to do. Fear of making a mistake, concerns about safety, or assuming someone else will step in can keep us from taking action.

But speaking up isn't the only way to intervene. The Three Ds of Bystander Intervention offer other practical ways to respond. You don't have to put yourself at risk to make a difference. Knowing your options and having a plan can help you act when it matters.

At Project PAVE, we believe preventing violence is a shared responsibility, and safer communities start with all of us.

Sports can give young people community, confidence, connection, and a place to belong. Proposition 134 would require participation in Colorado school and collegiate sports to be based on a student’s s*x as defined by their “biological reproductive system,” restricting transgender students from competing on teams consistent with their gender identity.

At PAVE, we work to build communities where young people experience safety and belonging. Singling out transgender students for exclusion moves us in the opposite direction.

PAVE urges Coloradans to vote NO on Proposition 134. Trans youth belong. Full stop.

PAVE believes deeply in protecting young people from human trafficking. We also believe policies intended to stop trafficking must reflect the realities survivors face.

Proposition 133 would mandate life without parole for child s*x trafficking convictions and expand the conduct covered by the offense. Colorado’s voter guide notes that survivors can be pressured or forced to participate in trafficking-related crimes, meaning victims themselves could face these penalties.

We can take trafficking seriously while demanding solutions that are trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and focused on prevention and healing.

Each and every dollar raised goes directly to supporting youth in building healthy relationships with themselves and others, processing relationship trauma through school-based therapy, and healthy masculinity programming. Trust is essential to community safety.

Amendment 81 would require state and local law enforcement to notify federal immigration authorities in certain cases when they cannot determine whether someone is lawfully present in the U.S., overriding current Colorado restrictions on this kind of cooperation.

For the young people and families PAVE serves, safety means being able to seek help, report harm, and engage with community institutions without fear that doing so could expose a loved one to immigration enforcement.

Policies that erode trust can make vulnerable communities less likely to reach out for support. PAVE urges Coloradans to vote NO on Amendment 81.
