Open Call for Dover Area Sculptors
Are you a large-form sculptor looking for opportunities to display your work locally with an end to getting noticed in a broader market?
The Dover Arts Commission (DAC Dover, New Hampshire) invites any sculptor (with a preference for showcasing local artists) to submit photos of work that will be around the new upscale Dover Waterfront district. Take a look at its website: https://waterfrontdistrictdover.com/
Please send photos or designs with approximate dimensions. Sculpture must be weatherproof, as it will be outdoors on a 5’ x 5’ concrete pad. At this point, the DAC is planning to rent sculptures for a six month
period, so we can showcase diverse art. Send it to DAC Commissioner Aleka Munroe at [email protected]. We encourage you to share this call for sculptures with fellow sculptors beyond the immediate Dover area.
The DAC meets the first Monday of each month, with the exception of holidays, in which case we meet the following Monday, in Dover City Hall Conference Room on the first floor. Meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and are open to the public. If you wish to attend regarding this art call, please send the requested email first.
