We’re hiring!

The Bucks County Board of Elections is looking for an Assistant Election Coordinator to join our team.

This is a full-time position that works closely with our Election Coordinator and helps with a little bit of everything, including ballot preparation, petitions, campaign finance, mail ballots, election materials, canvassing, training, and other day-to-day election operations.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with the public, and willing to learn. Election experience is helpful, but not required.

Like most election jobs, there are times of the year when things get very busy, and some overtime is required.

📣 We’re hiring for the November 2026 Election!

The Bucks County Board of Elections is looking for Per Diem Ballot Clerks (and Ballot Box Clerks!) to join our team this fall.

This is a great temporary opportunity for anyone looking to earn some extra income while playing an important role in the election process. The assignment runs approximately September 14 through November 25, 2026, and pays $15.00/hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to type at least 40 WPM. Retirees are welcome to apply!

Ballot Clerks help process mail-in and absentee ballots, prepare election materials and polling place supplies, assist with the canvass and official count, and more.

Ballot Box Clerks work at our ballot drop box locations throughout Bucks County, assisting voters, overseeing the secure return of mail-in and absentee ballots, and helping maintain chain of custody.

This is a temporary position with day, evening, and Saturday shifts available, making it a great option for someone looking for a more flexible election season schedule.
