Today marks an important change for drivers across Pennsylvania as Paul Miller’s Law enters full enforcement.
Beginning today, drivers can be cited for holding or using a handheld phone while operating a vehicle—even while stopped at a red light or sitting in traffic.
The law was created in memory of Paul Miller Jr., who was tragically killed by a distracted driver in 2010, and aims to make Pennsylvania roads safer for everyone.
A quick text, social media check, or glance at your phone can wait. No message is worth risking a life.
Use hands-free technology, stay focused on the road, and help prevent distracted driving crashes.
