Most of our delivered dino eggs have hatched, so our MINI DINOSAUR Adoption opens tomorrow! 🥳
◾ This is a free, come-and-go activity; you can come in any time after 9, and any day beginning tomorrow to adopt a dino.
◾️To keep things as fair as possible for everyone, the child adopting the mini dinosaur needs to be present.
◾ Your new reading buddy can help you earn more grand prize entries.
◾ While supplies last, and one mini dino per child. Dinosaur type will depend on availability.

Build a bridge with one of our building kits across a "river" to help the dinosaurs across. We'll have the Legos, Keva planks, and straws set out for building with! See you later today!

🦖Stop in beginning tomorrow, Monday, June 1, to pick up your reading tracker, then join us in the afternoon for our Maker Monday program.
(Note: you do not HAVE to come in Monday for your tracker; it just begins Monday. You can start tracking at any time this summer.)
🦖Tuesday, June 2, Dino adoption opens - come in and get a Summer Reading Buddy!
🦖 Thursday, June 4, is our first Come & Craft It activity. This is a come-and-go, self-guided activity for all ages. You'll be creating your very own bug inside "amber!"
🦖Finally, Friday, June 5, is our first Friday Fun Event in the auditorium at 10 am, featuring the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science!

Next Friday, June 5, is our first summer reading event for the whole family! Join us at 10 am in the Services Building Auditorium (behind the library) for a fun presentation from the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science! It's a great way to start off our "Unearth a Story" Summer @ the Library!

It's been decided: The best thing we can do for all these baby dinosaurs is have a DINO ADOPTION and give the kids a Summer Reading Buddy!
Stop in the library beginning Tuesday, June 2 (their hatch date, or any day after, while supplies last!) and adopt a new dino friend! Take them along on all your summer adventures and share about it on social media. Extra grand prize entry tickets if you tag the library!

So we opened up the crate only to discover a nest of some sort! We left them overnight in the library, and when we came in this morning, some of the eggs had begun to crack! We had a local scientist examine them, and they concluded these are, in fact, DINOSAUR EGGS!! We were told the eggs would be fully hatched by Tuesday, but we CANNOT have this many dinosaurs in the library!!! What to do, what to do.....
