Traveling Reptile Show

Reptiles and lunch at the library! Don't miss East Bay Vivarium's Traveling Reptile Show. Priority given to teens ages 12 and up and their caregivers, no children under age 5.

El Sobrante Library has free, healthy meals for students on Thursdays and Fridays this summer from 11am-1pm (while supplies last). Meals are provided by the WCCUSD Food Services.

Aztec Dance with Grupo Teokalli

Join us at El Sobrante Library on Saturday August 1st at 12-1pm in our outdoor amphitheater to experience the rich cultural tradition of Aztec dance and music by Contra Costa's own Grupo Teokalli, which means "House of Creation" in the Náhuatl language. Learn a little about the sacred ceremony that is a part of the dance, and the Náhuatl language, which is experiencing a cultural resurgence.

All ages and abilities welcome. No registration required.

Uncle Jer's Traveling Bee Show

Explore bee habitats and colony life; honey production and harvesting; and the healing properties of honey at this family-favorite bee show.
