6th graders in Mrs. Mitchell’s Science classes are studying types of Waves. Today the students got to SEE sound waves by using a tuning fork and a bowl of water. They thoroughly enjoyed watching the energy transfer from the Tuning fork’s sound to the medium, water. They learned quickly that splashing can and will occur!
