If you saw the Spectrum News report yesterday, then you heard right — the America-250 Ohio Revolutionary War Veteran Graves Project app will remain live for continued data collection!
https://spectrumnews1.com/oh/columbus/news/2026/05/25/revolutionary-war-veterans--graves-ohio
After a year of incredible work, more than 500 volunteers documented 4,344 Revolutionary War veteran and patriot gravesites across 1,487 cemeteries in Ohio.
The final results from this year-long effort will go live by July 4, 2026 — but the work doesn’t stop there. One of the greatest strengths of this project is that it’s a living document, meaning information can continue to be added, corrected, and refined over time.
So keep getting out there and helping us work toward documenting all 7,000+ Revolutionary War veterans and patriots buried in Ohio! Any new information submitted will continue to be incorporated into the final dashboard after the initial July 4 release.
