Fort Leonard Wood’s Family Child Care program not only delivers certified, home-based childcare to military families, it also offers military spouses a rewarding opportunity as small business owners, according to FCC Director Ellie Johnson.

“FCC is a great opportunity to run your own business from home, have steady income while raising your own children, and help the community by providing childcare for Soldiers and civilians,” Johnson said.

The FCC program, a part of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, provides care for children who are 4-weeks to 12-years-old in government-owned and government-leased housing on post.
