Prevention Partnership of Sandusky County The Prevention Partnership is a coalition made up of committed community members, organizations Activities relate to policy and law education and enforcement.

Active Committees:
Alcohol, To***co, & other Drug (AToD) Access – Standing committee responsible for implementing an action plan to reduce access to alcohol, to***co, and other drugs. Asset Development – Standing committee responsible for promoting youth asset development within the community. Present strategies include, but are not limited to, School Asset Teams and Youth Asset Awards. Awareness

– Standing committee responsible for increasing community awareness of the risks and harmful effects related to alcohol, to***co, and other drug use. Present strategies include, but are not limited to the annual Family Fest, Red Ribbon Campaign, and Parents Who Host campaign. Planning – Standing committee responsible for assessing the community’s needs related to substance use, developing recommendations to the Coalition regarding its goals, and evaluating the Coalition’s effectiveness. Ad Hoc – Temporary committees assigned by the Coalition Chairperson to carry out tasks that do not fall under the descriptions of the standing committees.

Jim grew up in a working class family, where his brothers, Mark & Donnie Wahlberg went on to achieve successful acting careers, Jim’s life, however, went down a darker path of alcoholism, addiction, & prison time.

Jim shares that story, and his fight for recovery, faith, and purpose.
