Here are our upcoming outreach offerings in June!

With our "Wonderful Wildflowers" program, learn about the incredible and sometimes rare summer wildflowers that bloom right here in our county!

Join Ohio’s very own State Geologist, Matt Franks, for our "Interactive Geology of Sandusky County" program, and learn about the fascinating geological features of our county, dating back to the last ice age! Attendees will be able to view and interact with a topographic sandbox that can visualize our ever-changing landscape!

"PokéCon" is a conservation library series aimed at discussing parallels between numerous fictional Pokémon and real life wildlife! Whether you're a young or veteran Pokémon fan or just love animals, you'll be able to learn a plethora of fun facts about the fantastic animals that roam our planet and how to promote their conservation and preservation! This presentation will cover "Psychic Type" Pokémon and their real life counterparts!

"Avians for Amateurs: Warbler Wonders" is the perfect program for those interested in beginning their birding journey and during the hike you’ll be able to learn some valuable identification techniques! As Northwest Ohio is known globally as the "Warbler Capital of the World" this edition of our ongoing birding series will feature them and how to tell them apart from one another! Be sure to bring your binoculars and/or camera!

Come to our "Spring Terrariums" program and create a small terrarium to welcome spring this March!

Our "Craft Plant Stakes" program will allow families to come and make their own personalized plant stakes for their gardens!

"Paint Me a Story" is a program combining art and literacy for children aged 2-12 at Pottery Perfection. Zach will be narrating a story during the program and after which children will paint a related piece of pottery! Tickets for the event can be found on Pottery Perfection's website.
