Over the past two weeks, Wellspring had the pleasure of hosting Jack, a graduating high school senior who is pursuing a public service career path.

When asked to describe his experience with Wellspring in one word, Jack chose: **Powerful.**

Throughout his time with us, Jack attended ESOL classes, connected with staff, helped in the gardens, and joined us at our recent HOST/MediClerk graduation ceremony.

"What inspired me most during my time here was attending the HOST/MediClerk graduation," he shared. "It was inspiring to see how proud and accomplished all the graduates and their families felt after completing the program. I could see how much hard work, dedication, and sacrifice went into reaching that moment."

Reflecting on Wellspring's mission, Jack said, "The mission is truly about empowering people and putting them on a path toward immediate and future success."

Thank you, Jack, for spending part of your senior year with us. We are grateful for your curiosity, thoughtful perspective, and willingness to learn alongside our community. We wish you all the best in the exciting journey ahead!

Yesterday, Wellspring celebrated 31 adults who completed our Healthcare Office Support Training (HOST) program, with every enrolled student in this graduating class earning their diploma — a 100% graduation rate!

Their hard work, determination, and resilience are inspiring, and their success is a reminder of what can happen when training, opportunity, and sustained support come together.

Congratulations to all of the graduates. We can’t wait to see what comes next.

This year’s report reflects a period of continued growth and deepening impact — from expanded homelessness prevention services to record outcomes in workforce training and education programs.

We’re grateful to see Wellspring and Brookwood School’s longstanding partnership featured in both Mass Nonprofit News and Patch. ✨

On May 13, Wellspring dedicated a vibrant new bench on our Gloucester campus celebrating more than 30 years of partnership with .

Inspired by artwork created by Brookwood students, the handcrafted bench overlooks the wildflower gardens generations of students have helped cultivate over the years — a lasting reflection of community, belonging, and shared care.

The dedication also honored Brookwood educators Sarah Dawe, Pam Hawes, and Jeff Wilfahrt, whose leadership helped shape one of the North Shore’s longest-running community partnerships.

When Marlon came to Wellspring, he wanted to improve his English and advance his career. Through ESOL and digital literacy classes, he built the skills - and the confidence - to more than double his wage.

Today he's Head Custodian at a local elementary school. At Wellspring, education and career support aren't extras - they're how people move forward.
