Last week, Chief Sereno and Accreditation Manager Michelle Provencher attended the CALEA conference in Omaha, NE where the Goffstown Police Department received its 11th CALEA accreditation award!
There are less than 25 CALEA certified agencies in New Hampshire and GPD is proud to say that we have been one of those departments since 1992.
A huge thank you and congratulations to Michelle for completing her 20th year as Accreditation Manager. Your commitment and dedication to this department is unmatched and we are so thankful to have you as a leader on our team.

Please note that new signs have been posted at Glen Lake School regarding overflow parking for Glen Lake Beach. There is available overflow parking at Glen Lake School for residents with permits only. Trailers are prohibited from parking in the school parking lot and will be ticketed.

Goffstown Road Race Notice: the annual Goffstown Gallop will take place this morning, starting at 8:30 AM. Delays are anticipated in the village area as the race course spans from Parks and Recreation through the village. 🚧Traffic Notice - Henry Bridge Road project 🚧
Bridge work over the Piscataquog River will require full closure of the bridge and pedestrian walkway for several weeks to replace the bridge decking and address corrosion of the structural steel below.
📅 Beginning June 23rd (after school is out)
⏰ 24/7 until the project is complete
A detour route will be established via Elm St and Main St/Mast Rd.

🚧Traffic Notice - Henry Bridge Road project 🚧

Bridge work over the Piscataquog River will require full closure of the bridge and pedestrian walkway for several weeks to replace the bridge decking and address corrosion of the structural steel below.

Main Street and surrounding neighborhoods will see heavy traffic today due to multiple community events, including:

• Goffstown Old Home Day
• Goffstown Public Library Book Sale
• St. Matthew’s Yard Sale
• Rotary Car Show
• Town-Wide Yard Sale

Please allow extra travel time and use caution, as there will be increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the day.
