This week's Mustang Spotlight features YVETTE SMAIL! As a behavior specialist, she has dedicated 18 years to MSDB. Yvette joined us after a position opened up, thanks to encouragement from several current employees. She proudly holds the title of our first Behavior Specialist. Outside of her professional life, Yvette enjoys spending time with family, baking, cooking, fishing, camping, playing trivia, reading, and traveling. Her favorite snacks include Mexican cuisine and dark chocolate with nuts and sea salt. A fun fact about Yvette is that she is a twin, sharing this unique bond with Yvonne Jackson.
This week's Mustang Spotlight also features SHERI DEVLIN! She has been part of MSDB for one year, serving as a transition coordinator. Sheri began her career in Vocational Rehabilitation 34 years ago, where she had the incredible opportunity to work with the Deaf and learn sign language from a remarkable mentor. This experience later opened doors for her to work with students who are blind or have low vision. In her leisure time, Sheri enjoys hiking, attending concerts, paddle boarding, working out at the gym, and cherishing moments with her daughters and grandson. Her favorite snacks include cinnamon bears and cheesecake, though she has a special fondness for homemade soup. A fun fact about Sheri is that she has hiked the 31-mile Beaten Path Trail three times alongside her dad and brother!
