📢 Community Update

After much thought and discussion, we have made the difficult decision to stop accepting day-to-day assistance requests.

Over the past several months, we have learned a great deal about the needs of our community and the realities of operating a small, volunteer-led initiative. At this time, we simply do not have the volunteers, leadership support, or resources needed to continue managing individual requests in a sustainable way.

The truth is that our initiative has been operating with a very small team, and we have reached the point where we cannot continue meeting community needs without additional support. In order for our efforts to continue and grow, we need more people willing to step into volunteer, leadership, and partnership roles.

While we are ending our day-to-day request program, we still hope to support our community through future events, projects, and initiatives. However, our ability to do so, including our annual December holiday event, will depend on community involvement and support.

At this time, we are seeking:

💙 Board Members and Leadership Support
💙 Community Partners
💙 Sponsors and Donors
💙 Event Planning Support
💙 A Location for Future Events and Programs

Drowning in kids’ artwork you want to save but don’t know where to put or don’t want to drag the memory box down every week?

Hang wall baskets and use them as an easy drop zone for artwork, school papers, coloring pages, and little keepsakes you want to hold onto without covering the entire fridge.

🚨 URGENT NEEDS REQUEST – F43 🚨

We are assisting an individual who recently left a domestic violence situation and is starting completely over. We have been able to gather some hygiene essentials already, but we are still urgently searching for the following items:

• Hair clippers with guards (preferably new and unused)
• Mens sandals size 13
• Mens underwear size 2X
• Men’s socks (must be new)

Potential additional needs:
• Men’s shirts size 3X
• Men’s shorts size 2X
• Men’s sweatpants size 2X

We are also looking for items such as:
• Toiletry carry case/bag
• Hygiene organization items
• Other basic men’s essentials
